Bob Reidmuller became the family “plant geek” under the guidance of his paternal grandfather who farmed in the Bronx back in the 1920s-1930s. It is also appropriate that Bob is from New Jersey, the Garden State, and when his family moved to California, he ran a small backyard business raising and selling ferns and orchids. As the resident horticulturist and the educational assistant at Oasis Water Efficient Gardens in Escondido, California, Bob will tell us how to take care of succulents during the summer months as well as a few recommendations for succulent varieties. Bob co-authored the book, Success with Succulents: Choosing, Growing, and Caring for Cactuses and Other Succulents with John Bagnasco.
Along with succulents, Bob will tell us about an exciting new agapanthus.
