How to Divide and Plant Bearded Iris
With their distinctive spikes of colorful flowers emerging from sturdy, strap-shaped foliage, bearded iris are stunning garden plants. They are available in a rainbow of hues, including bi-colors, come in a wide range of sizes and depending on the variety, flower early, mid-season or late. Growers have recently hybridized a new strain known as remontant (re-blooming) that will flower in the spring and again in mid-summer to fall.
